The Minnesota Vikings will be on their fifth offensive coordinator in five seasons. Reports indicate that the Cleveland Browns will hire the Minnesota Vikings Offensive Coordinator Kevin Stefanski as their next head coach.

Stefanski was the runner up a year ago for the Browns head coaching position, but after Freddie Kitchens made it one season as the head coach in Cleveland, Stefanski will get his shot.

Stefanski led the Vikings offense that averaged 353 yards per game, which was 16th in the league, along with 25.4 points per game, 8th in the league.

With Stefanski headed to Cleveland, the Vikings will be on the search for a new offensive coordinator. It will be the fifth offensive coordinator in five seasons for the Vikings, according to Chad Graff.

In 2019, the Browns averaged 20.9 points per game, which ranked 22nd in the NFL. A couple of names that could be on the shortlist of hires for the Vikings include Gary Kubiak, who is currently an offensive assistant with the Vikings, and Pat Shurmur, who was the Vikings offensive coordinator in 2017. Klint Kubiak, the Vikings quarterbacks coach, could also be waiting in the wings to be the next offensive coordinator.
