We can confirm that we have had employees who have tested positive for coronavirus at our Willmar Avenue Plant.

The total number of confirmed cases has not been released. This comes days after the confirmed outbreak of cases at the JBS USA pork processing plant in Worthington. That plan is scheduled to close today.

According to Bring Me The News, Jennie-O states that it has taken the proper steps to contain the spread of the virus. This includes quarantining affected parties and "ensuring all close contacts are identified and also quarantined." Jennie-O also states that all employees affected by the virus will still receive 100% pay and benefits.

Jennie-O also has plants in Faribault, Pelican Rapids and Melrose with one also in Barron County Wisconsin.
