James Lundgren of the Steele County Historical Society was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town.The first week of April looks to be a busy one. The Autos and Roads exhibit is currently highlighting a 1967 Shelby Cobra. This exhibit will close April 18. On Thursday, April 5 at 7PM a panel discussion entitled Drivers Meet the Road will be offered. The panel discussion will focus on the driver and their experience. Panel members will include Sgt. Troy Christianson of the Minnesota High Patrol, Dean Rhoades and Laramie Sandquist of Federated Insurance, Driver Education Instructor Mike Stormo and Steele County Sheriff Lon Thiele. Earlier in the day the Jr. History and the History Detectives which is free programming for children will focus on Cars and Gas Stations.

The Gopher State Archaeological Society Artifact Show will be at the Steele County History Center on Saturday, April 7 from 9-3PM. This is open to the public and is free. It will feature artifacts such as arrowheads, bone tools, bead work baskets and more. It also includes items found in Steele County.

Baby Boomers, in May an exhibit featuring toys and games from 1968 to today will open. There will not only be toys and games and on display but some will be available to play with. More details to come.
