Rucker, who founded Hootie and the Blowfish in 1986, turned his attention to country music a couple of decades ago. It was in the fall of 2008 that his debut country single, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", hit number one on the national charts.

Monday morning, Rucker announced his 2023 "Starting Fires Tour". The 21-city tour begins in Roanoke, Virginia on June 15th. Just under a month later, Rucker will perform at Q Casino in Dubuque. The concert will be on Thursday, July 13, and is part of the Summer Concert Series. Rucker will be performing on the Back Waters Stage.
