
Wind Advisory for Southern Minnesota Today
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for today for portions of southern Minnesota for gusts as high as 45 mph, in effect until 3:00 pm this afternoon.
The Wind Advisory includes Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, and Winona Counties (+more).
South winds around 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to around 45 mph are expected today.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Travel may be hazardous on east west highways in open areas, including Interstate 90 and US Highway 14 and particularly for high profile vehicles.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
