One of the first-time vendors at the Steele County Free Fair is Cathy's Collectible House of Signs. The booth is next to the Grandstand and features well over 700 different signs. Most are made in the U.S. In addition there are around 150 more signs made outside the U.S.

They have around 65 Harley-Davidson signs along with many tractor models such as Allis-Chalmers, Farmall, John Deere, Oliver, Minneapolis Moline, Case and more.

They also have Mopar, Ford, GM and Chrysler along with Pepsi, Mountain Dew and more. Many of the beer signs denote the way they looked back in the 1970s. They include Schmidt, Pabst, Hamms and more.

The House of Signs vendors are from Hastings, and Cathy was born and raised up the road in Dennison.

They also carry a number of patriotic signs.

The Steele County Free Fair is one of just two fairs that Cathy has gone to this summer.
